PETROPLUS - NIGERIA - ASCE - Abuja Securities & Commodity Exchange Plc

Author Thomas Ramseyer
1) Nigerian Government to untag Bonny light from Brent
Nigeria must break the link/tag Bonny light to Brent. Bonny light and Brent have nothing in common but for a similar chical  composition. Brent prices are American made at Chicago Board of Trade CBOT in the United States of America.

2) Bonny light to be traded at Abuja Security and Commodity Exchange.
Since two years ago, down stream oil companies have not been buying Bonny light. The reason thereof is the fact that Bonny light is tagged to Brent. In earlier days this might have senseful. In the present as well as the future the choking fatal link really must be cut. Once the tag to Brent cut, Bonny light will be traded as its

3) Nigerian Jonathan Goodluck administration said to be weak - he is not weak; it is the senat being strongly against him
If talking with people in the street, Goodluck is said to be a weak president. This is NOT true. The truth is that the Senat is blocking a lot of things the Goodluck administration is up to do. 85% on average of the Nigerian people consider the president some sort of king having full power.

4) It is a pitty that citizens all over the globe have not yet recognized that in a democracy the people - the souvereign - in fact are the ones in charge
The people are sending ministers to the capital. People are voting for the president for him climb on seat. Once on, most of the president become what their predecedents were; silly greedy eldery statesmen filling their deep pockets with fat envelopes. A lot of them also hire people having no clue about how to use modern gear such as notebooks and the sort. To cut it short the senat's members are far too old for governing a modern and advancing country such as Nigeria.

5) Nigeria seems to be #6 when it comes to proven oil reserves - perheaps far more oil in Nigerian soil than announced - US declared Westafrica/Nigeria strategically interesting - why? when not for oil???
As American explorers are at work - Nigeria does not have the necessary staff - American explorers are to report to the Nigerian ministry of oil. The devil's advocat says that it is not granted that all discoveries are revealed to the Nigerian Government's oil ministry. Maybe far vaster off shore oil fields have been discovered by US-exploration firms - keeping this fact a secret thus hiding it from the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation NNPC as well as from Nigeria's responsible  ministry - which are known only to certain authorities abroad.
