Amis seulement des personnes qui était amis avec moi quand j'ai fait partie des éclaireurs et j'ai suivis des cours à l'école, au militair, à l'école de recrut et quand j'était une membre de l'armee suisse. Tous acquérits plus tard ne valait rien du tout quand j'en aurais besoin du support.
Freunde
Freunde sind nur Personen welche schon meine Freunde waren wärend meiner Schulzeit, Rekrutenschule und Militär aber auch bei den Pfadfindern. Alle später erworbenen Bekanntschaften erwiesen sich als nichtsnutzig gerade dann, als ich sie dringend brauchte.
Friends
Only consider friends people you have been acquainted during childhood, in schools, at military school as a rookie during military revearsal periods as well as during my time as a scout. All others - mainly the ones I got when representing potential - proved to be two by four; they were in the position to help. This because those "friendships" were only between two firms, the higher the potential the thicker the friendship.

Si on a besoin des vrais amis il faut les rechercher. Quant on les met après des années on a bien l'impression de les avoir parlés hier seulement.

Il faut oublier les gens qui seulement luttent pour la monnaie et eux-mêmes; ceux-là ne vaut rien de tout. Il ne faut pas courir après des gens qui ne te veulent plus. Ca ne vaut pas la paine. Tous qu'ils font de l'obstruction pour faire. En plus ils en sont pleins.

Vergiss bloss alle, welche bloss dem Geld oder Ruhm hinterherrennen. Diese verlieren sich im Falschen. Sie sind unnütz und behindern dich bloss in deinem Fortkommen. Und . . . in der Regel haben diese sie voll.
Advice
Forget about those hustling only after money; they are but two by four or even ten. Do not lose your time running after people not wanting you any more; it is a pure waiste. And only blocks you from doing the right. And . . . as a rule of thumb they are having it up to the brims.
